How can I help (or get free prints!)?
There are two ways to win free prints while promoting the Mile by Mile project.
1. Twitter.
If you have a twitter account and want a chance to win a free 16"x24" print from my trip just retweet this message:
Support the #milebymile project by donating miles http://bit.ly/158LDV *RT for a chance to win a 16"x24" print*
Make sure you include the hashtag #milebymile in any tweet you use to support my project. This is the only way I'll be able to track the tweets and how I will know to enter you into the contest. If you want to double your chances, donate a minimum of 1 mile and include your twitter name in the checkout process.
2. Email.
Since every doesn't have a twitter account, I wanted to create another way for people to have an opportunity to win a free print for promoting my project. All you have to do is copy the memo that I wrote out below and send it to friends, family or anyone you think would donate to Mile by Mile.
Once you've done that, you go to my contact page and send me a message with the email addresses you sent my memo. The catch is, you only receive points if a person from your list comes back and donates to the project. The person who receives the most points (the person who has gotten the most people to donate) will be the winner of a 16"x24" print.
Memo:
"Zach Ancell is a college photographer based out of Eugene, Oregon, and is embarking on a 4000 mile road trip across the Western United States. Before I get ahead of myself, you are probably wondering why this is important or what does this have to do with me. Well, Zach is working on a project called Mile by Mile. In order to fund his trip and build his portfolio, he is selling off the miles of his trip and in return you will receive an awesome print from the road. But, even more than that, you can choose an area where you want your photo to come from.
The cool thing is by donating your not only helping fund his project but you're also helping me have a better chance at winning a 16"x24" print. Go check out the website and you can get the rest of the details there: www.zachancell.com/mile-by-mile/"
You don't have to use my memo if you don't want to. The better job you do at getting people to donate the better chance you have at winning a free print. So be as creative as you want to be.
Both ways are pretty simple because I've done the majority of the work for you. You either copy and paste the memo or tweet (you can do both for an even better chance at winning a print) and then send it out. If you do the email contest you have a little more work by needing to copy and paste your email list and send it to me in a message.
Good luck to everyone!
